John A. Pasquella, an AOAO board-certified D.O. joined the Center for Advanced Orthopaedics in 2011 following completion of post-residency training as an Emanuel B. Kaplan Hand Fellow at New York University/Hospital for Joint Diseases Institute in New York City. Dr. Pasquella attended medical school and completed a five year residency in orthopedic surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Previously he had attended Arcadia University on an academic scholarship and graduated with a B.A. degree in Biology.
Dr. Pasquella specializes in the treatment of disorders pertaining to the hand and upper extremity. These disorders include overuse and arthritic conditions, occupational injuries, and nerve and tendon problems. During his residency and fellowship training, he was also involved in the care of athletic injuries including treating professional athletes. He also continues to treat patients with general orthopedic conditions.
Dr. Pasquella is a member of many local and national medical organizations with an interest in research. He has contributed to many research projects through his residency and fellowship training, and he also worked extensively in clinical pharmaceutical research. Dr. Pasquella enjoys many outdoor activities such as running and mountain biking. He especially enjoys cheering for his hometown professional sports teams.
